All Participants on the XChange can search for available spot capacity and associated pricing. Functionality exists to look out as far as 52 weeks ahead. Participants will be able to search for specific equipment types, dates, and origin/destination combinations around the world.
POST
Owners of ocean container inventory can search shipping schedules for their sailings and then post their available excess capacity and pricing. The XChange allows for revisions to the base rate, BAF and other component charges. Further, there is built in functionality that accounts for pricing durations, dry/reefer differentiation, and partner authorization
BUY
After comparing rates and services, vetted Participants use the XChange to buy spot capacity. The Triton Works XChange provides a controlled, ordered marketplace which allows commerce to thrive. Further, every transaction is summarized to both Participants, and an e-contact is created to fulfill filing requirements.
ANALYZE
Participants will be able to analyze their historical activity and transactions in order to determine buying and selling patterns. Also Triton Works offers an enhanced reporting package enabling views of trade lane wide data points on posted & purchased space over an extended period of time.
